10 Things You Can DO Today to Improve Your Life Wherever You Are!

Here are 10 things that you can do to improve your life TODAY!

1. Be intentional with your thoughts. Whether you are in the middle of planning your move or have been an expatriate for years, your life is a continuous creation and your thoughts are a key part of what creates your life. How your thoughts make you feel is your personal radar letting you know whether your thoughts are serving you and your life or not. If your thoughts make you feel good, GREAT! If your thoughts make you feel bad, make a concerted effort to shift your thought. This is bigger than "positive thinking" this is about taking control of our unique human endowment -- our ability to control our thoughts.

2. Be honest with yourself and others. I really believe that it takes small bits of our soul to not speak our truth. Even white lies can wear away at your character. More important than your relationship with others is your relationship with yourself. There is consistent pressure to "look good" or "be nice" when leaving old friends and when making new friends. True friends appreciate honesty -- not simple politeness. Being honest is one of the best ways to honor yourself. Strive for self-integrity.

3. Be kind to yourself and others. Like honesty, kindness and compassion feed the soul. In the high pressure situation of relocating or in the throws of adjustment, you can find yourself on edge and much less patient with others. When you find yourself being really tough on yourself think about how you would be and what you would say to your best friend. When you are being really tough with someone else (most often our nearest and dearest) think about whether your best friend would still be your best friend if you treated them this way.

4. Relax. I know it is easier said than done but worrying and stressing gets us nowhere fast. When you find yourself full of anxiety and frustration about something (the unknowns of the new location, leaving familiar people and places) remind yourself that life is an adventure and that it takes a certain kind of person to be willing to do what you are doing. Look forward to creating your new life.

5. Be thankful. And I don't mean a quick "thanks". I mean really look around the room you are in, the company you keep, the sky, your health, your children, your dog, whatever it is that you can genuinely be thankful for and let yourself really feel that appreciation. When you are full of appreciation, your perspective on life shifts for the better and helps us breath in our experiences and truly live rather than rushing through life to get things done.

6. Don't over-schedule yourself. Whether it is your way of being helpful or efficient, the nature of what your professional or personal life demands, saying yes to too many things is saying a big fat NO to your well-being. Don't bother yourself or others with long explanations, simply say "I can't" when you can't. Honor the preciousness of your time and only do the things you really WANT to do. This includes our goodbye dinners -- have a big gathering instead!

7. Tell the people you love that you love them. Very similar to being thankful and being honest, letting people you care for know that you love them feeds their soul and yours. Don't ever assume that they "know" you do. Letting people know how you feel WILL matter in a week, month and year from now. This will also deepen the relationships you are physically leaving ensuring the possibility to not only continue them but improve them while you are away.

8. Be quiet. As little as 15 minutes a day of quiet time can make a profound difference in the quality of your life. Don't be afraid, it doesn't have to be meditation (and it can be) but turn off your cell phone, close your door, no t.v., no radio, get comfortable, close your eyes, and enjoy your own company. Use this time to focus on what you really want and how you want your life to be.

9. Take care of yourself. I know that you know what to do to take care of yourself. It is what your grandmother and your mother taught you -- eat breakfast, drink water, exercise, and get plenty of rest but so many of us say I'll start tomorrow, or on Monday; or after I get settled. There are thousands of excuses AND there are NONE. We all have the same number of minutes and hours in the day and the only separation between people who take good care of themselves and people who don't is a decision.

10. Get a Life Coach. Seriously! If you are interested in how to make your okay life phenomenal, then get a life coach. There are coaches who specialize in supporting you through your move and in creating the life you desire in your new country.

These are just a few things you can do to improve your life. If you are thinking, "that sounds great but who has time, or let's get real here -- I have to make a living and I have a life -- I am engaged in an international move!!" then you are not making time for things that really matter. I can show you how to have your daily actions reflect your deepest values and desires. And if you are thinking: I know all this and have tried but it just doesn't stick, then you are putting yourself and your life on the back burner while you pack and put out fires -- where is your joy? Where is your passion? You deserve to have it all and it is up to you to create it.

Ode to Opening of a Chicharron Sandwich & Disappearing Life (Two Poems)

Ode: to Opening of a Chicharron Sandwich

Memo: for those who do not know, Chicharron is pork at its best in Peru; it is cooked in hot oils, and often put in-between two pieces bread and this, called a Chicharron Sandwich.

We think of Alexander the Great
As we open up a Chicharron Sandwich
Looking down, we see
Two bodies slapped on top of something
In-between- chicharron;
A brainstorm begins
(still looking down)
Miles of thoughts pass us
Like a roadrunner...!
What is in-between-peeks at us
(like a mouse to a nearby cat).
Your eyes go around the sandwich,
as if you are spying:
Likened to a mammoth toad;
Then they melt into the entire sandwich
(drowning your previous brainstorm).
Toads, mice and brainstorms
everything drowning...!
In the attic of our minds
We murder the sandwich now,
Like a great prince, at a feast!...

Disappearing Life

When will you speak up?
When images of death appear?
When your grave is filled
(when it is too late, that is)?
When you look back in life
do you say:
"A worn-out life?"
"A life misplaced?"
"A life ruined?"
When it is too late, it is too late:
it will be the time for silence
(no escape)!

Note: We have a right to die, but not simple because our life is worn-out, in saying that I mean, we do not have a right to take this life, this is different. Suffering is part of life. Life is sacred and given to us by God. He did not give it to the angels, or to other beings, not like he gave it to us, for that reason alone, life should be sustained by medical measures if possible. We need to remember there is a difference between the postponement of life, to death and prolongation of life. My mother was dying in the hospital, a normal old aged death, and a death inevitable: we allowed the natural process to run its course.

Law Of Attraction Tips And Secrets - 9 Questions To Ask Yourself Before Taking Action

Allowing more inspiration is one sure way to make life and the law of attraction easier and more effective. Here's an easy process to help you feel your way to becoming more and more inspired.

When I want to do or buy or have something, but it doesn't feel quite settled for me, sometimes I ask myself these questions to begin an evaluation process (which sometimes leads to a new idea). You may have other questions to add, but here's a place to start....

1. Does it fit with what I know?

2. Will it please me now and later?

3. Does it fit my physical journey as it exists now?

4. Does it touch on my ideals in a positive way for me?

5. Does it have inspiration in it?

6. Is it realistic, believable, do-able, easy?

7. Does it feel congruent and connected?

8. Does the timing feel right?

If one of the questions feels really "off," I remember a time when I was more aligned with that energy, and either jot it down on a piece of paper, or just close my eyes and remember. This will bring in more positive energy to the situa219Ation, and will give you a stronger feeling of "yes," "no" or another direction.

Basically, if something doesn't fit this criteria for me, I don't let it in to my experience. This saves me a lot of trouble later, and has proved a very productive practice for me.

I hope it does for you, as well.

Thank you for being here.

Home Improvement Guide and Information

What Is The Master Key System By Charles Haanel About?

Who is Charles Haanel?
Charles Haanel is an American author and self-made successful businessman who wrote a book called "The Master Key System" back in 1912. In fact, before writing that book, he founded one of the largest conglomerates of his time. Many recognized him as the father of modern day self development. Napolean Hill of the famed "Think and Grow Rich" book had written and acknowledged Charles Haanel and his book as the contributing influence in his success. Even modern day successful people who read "The Master Key System" had gained much from it. Bill Gates is also rumored to have read this very book!

He also wrote other books including Mental Chemistry and The New Psychology.

What is "The Master Key System" about?
Originally5B4, Charles Haanel had written it as weekly correspondent home study course but later he compiled the 24 parts into a book instead. This book is about how to create success in your life through mastery of yourself. This book is a system where Charles Haanel put together his experiences, ideas and methods into sequential modules for readers to follow through to gain success in life. In each module, Charles Haanel shows the reader exercises that he can do to help to work the inner self, the control of thoughts in the mind through meditation. Key points in the book includes Law of Attraction, concentration, controlling of thoughts, visualization and actions. In fact, this book gives an excellent insight to the Law of Attraction.

Although there were many people praising and gaining much from the book back then, it was rumored that the church did not think so as they banned the book back in 1933.

Even now, it is still the definitive book that shows you how to get wealth, health and success with many people still benefiting from its teaching. However, it is by no means an easy book to read given the fact that it was written back in the 1900s.

If you want to attract abundance and wealth in your life, Alison recommends Bob Proctor's The Science of Getting Rich Program that guides you step-by-step on how to attract wealth, 2AFhealth and riches. You can get a FREE interview report with Bob Proctor here: http://www.abundanceattracting.com

Creative Memory Tricks
Can You See Your Dream

The Incredible Power of Intent

Imagine two big spotlights. One is pointed upward, casting light far into the air. The other is pointed downward and buried into the earth - no light is cast at all.

This is like intent.

There are only two possible intentions in any given moment: the intent to learn about loving yourself and others, and the intent to protect against pain with some form of controlling behavior.

When you consciously choose the intent to learn, your light points upward, shining upon the truth that will guide you in your highest good. Your mind opens and becomes a receiver of the information you need to support yourself in manifesting your dreams. Consciously choosing the intent to learn is the most powerful thing we can do. When we consciously choose the intent to learn, we open ourselves to our Higher Self - the part of us that connects us with the information and creativity in the universe.

When we unconsciously choose the intent to control, we shut off access to truth. Our mind closes and becomes like a closed circuit TV - recycling the old information that has been programmed into our mind. We become stuck in our limited mind, operating from the false beliefs that we learned as we were growing up. We become stuck in the past, recreating old hurts.

The challenge here is that our unconscious automatic choice is to control. When we were growing up, we all had to learn many ways to control to survive the challenges of childhood. We learned ways of trying to have control over how people feel about us and treat us, such as anger, blame, judgment, righteousness, or compliance. We learned ways to protect against losing ourselves to another's control, such as resisting or withdrawing. We learned many addictive B65ways of avoiding feeling our pain, such using food, drugs, alcohol, TV, Internet, sex, work, sports, gambling, shopping, self-judgment, and so on - all to have control over not feeling our painful feelings.

Most people immediately, and unconsciously, choose the intent to control the moment they feel any anxiety. The problem is that the intent to control is self-abandonment, always causing even more fear, anxiety or depression. Instead of shining the light of love upon your distress in order to learn and heal, you shove the light into the ground, causing more darkness.

Choosing your intent is the essence of free will, and it determines what you feel and what you manifest. While you might have momentary pleasure when something good happens, the deep joy and wellbeing that we all seek, and the ability to manifest your dreams, is the result of your intent to learn about loving yourself and others.

The challenge in our lives is to REMEMBER that we are at choice - to remember to choose the intent to learn.

How can you remember to consciously choose the intent to learn? How can you remember, the moment you feel any fear, anxiety, or any stress, to open to learning about what you are thinking or doing that is creating this stress? What can you do to stop your automatic reactive controlling behavior?

First of all, you need to accept that this is a lifetime practice - not something that will occur quickly. We have all been practicing the intent to control for most of our lives, so it will take much practice to even remember that there is another choice.

The place to start is to practice noticing your feelings throughout a day. Perhaps wearing a rubber band that you can snap on your wrist will remind you to check inside to see how you are feeling. You cannot begin to learn about your thoughts and actions that are causing your feelings until you are aware of your painful feelings. You cannot stop your addictive anesthetics until you are WILLING to feel your feelings and take responsibility for them.

If you decide that you are willing to feel your feelings, that willingness will lead you to becoming more and more conscious of your feelings. This is the beginning of being able to consciously choose your intent to learn.

Energy Enhancement Meditation

Usually first step is to Open the Heart, and on this planet only perhaps 50% of the people have started to think a little about others instead only of themselves.

This means that the other 50% of the people perhaps are entirely selfish so now you can understand all your problems with relationships! Opening the Heart is the First Initiation on the path of Enlightenment and in it the Solar Plexus starts to empower the Heart with its energy. Blockages stopping the flo1C69w of Energy include Anger.

Anger is totally removed!

Then Master Relationships. This is the Second Initiation and entails the Second, Abdominal or Relationship chakra starting to power the Throat Chakra, the source of our creativity. And then open the pathway between the Base Chakra and all the Head Chakras. This is commonly called Enlightenment itself. The Crown Chakras purpose is to access the Soul or Higher Self through the Antahkarana or the Energy Connection from the Crown Chakra to the Higher chakras above the head, or The Highest Heart, Prajna Paramita. ENERGIZE!!

Once Relationships have easily been mastered then The Third Initiation, Enlightenment happens in the same Lifetime!

The problems of the World are now so intense that there needs to be a speeding up of evolution to create more evolved and Happy Beings. The problem is that most people are Not Happy!

The problems of the World come from a Lack of Evolution, a Lack of the Opening of the Heart, of Caring, of Sympathy, of wanting to help, Of wanting to reduce the amount of Pain in Humanity. If you have no Heart which is the Case of more than half of Humanity, then Selfishness, Anarchy, War, Revenge, Jealousy, Envy, Torture and Psychopaths will rule! And this has been the case for all the History of this Earth! This speeding up of evolution can only come with a Heart to provide by Right of Being Born, of All Basic Needs to every member of Humanity.

As a Good Family gives its Sons and Daughters Everything for their Evolution. These Basic Needs Are Food, Housing, Money, Education And Meditation Teaching, also Security, And Human Rights.

Meditation will Speed Up all other techniques, Hatha Yoga, working on the health of the body, Pranayama, working on increasing energy and happiness, Dance or Martial arts, for instinctive grace and movement. In Energy Enhancement we start with meditation and move on into The Kundalini Kriyas of the Hindu and Taoist Masters. Then Samyama, working on removing all the problems of: Energy Blockages, Cleaning the Psychic Body, Cleaning the Inner Traumas and Memories, Creating Incredible Relationships.

We need to work first on Meditation and the Grounding of Negative Energies. As Gurdjieff said, "First Mastic. Then Mystic." Which is the ability to digest all negative energies.

Extra energy comes from outside, from the teachers usually, "Hanbledzoin," as Gurdjieff said, is the Energy, The Bled, or Blood of the Masters, and is necessary for the integrative process. This is the Buddhafield. This is the origin of Shaktipat. This is the origin of all access to the symptoms of Kundalini Energy.

These specialized energies are available to complete the psychic bodies, to fill them up, to complete them. These energies can only come through properly Authorised Teachers. An Advanced Synthesis of Successful Meditation Techniques is a new Higher Frequency of Energy sent by Ascended Masters and Highly Evolved Devas or Angels to speed up the evolution of this planet.

All Advanced teachers can be judged by all students to have Advanced Meditational Experience after years of Training. It is the first test of the Student to choose the Right Teachers.

Some teachers teach that it is necessary to take energy from other students. They never mention the Opening of the Heart through the Removal of Energy Blockages like Anger and Depression. They Never mention the Purification of the Antahkarana and Connection with the Soul. Energy Vampires only want to steal energy from others and increase Trauma and Pain blockages to do this.

Instead of taking over Twenty years of Meditation, Advanced Techniques allow the process to be speeded up with the Advanced Techniques from a Synthesis of Successful Meditation Techniques taught to all advanced practitioners of Meditation for over 5000 years.

Good Teachers of Meditation must transmit Energies to help the Evolution of their Students. This Uppadesa is sometimes called Shaktipat and can come by word, glance or in Silence.

Good Teachers will always teach Advanced Techniques to Remove Aches and Pains, Negative Emotions and Trauma, Open the Heart, Connect to the Energies of the Higher Self and thus Access Higher Levels of Energy.

As the Ancient Text of the Siva Samhit, iii, 10-19: says, "Now I shall tell you how easily to attain success in Yoga, by knowing which the Yogis never fail in the practice of Yoga. Only the knowledge imparted by a Competent Teacher through his lips is powerful and useful; otherwise it becomes fruitless, weak and very painful.

Why spend time on techniques which give no results?

As Gautama Buddha Said, "Meditation is for those who believe in the reality of Enlightenment, and understand the Urgency of the Situation." So, do not hang around. If you believe in Enlightenment, then you need to find the best and most Speedy Way!

Speed Up The Process of Enlightenment with Advanced and Effective Meditation Techniques, a Syntheses of Ancient and successful techniques over 5000 years old. The roots come from many ancient disciplines available in most Ancient Cultures all over the World, and include -

Alchemical V.I.T.R.I.O.L, the first Formula of Alchemy, in reality a guided meditation to give you Incredible Energy!!

How To Develop Your Critical Thinking Skills

What are critical thinking skills? They are the habits of thought that you cultivate for better decisions on what to believe and what to do. Critical thought is not about being able to argue well. That kind of thinking can be a trap. Unfortunately, some very intelligent people think that way, seeking only to justify the beliefs they already have. That is very limited thinking.

Ask psychologists, philosophers, and brain scientists what critical thinking is, and you'll get many definitions. However, all of them seem to agree that it includes challenging and analyzing our own motivations, thought processes and conclusions. Here is a basic definition:

"Reasonable and reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe and/or how to act."

Reasonabl1395e shouldn't be confused with logical, since many of the most unreasonable ideas result logically from a chosen set of premises and assumptions. A set of premises which include a flat Earth, for example, can lead to the perfectly logical conclusion that a boat will fall off the edge of the planet if it goes too close. Logic is a systematic way to derive conclusions from premises, but the premises themselves may be right or wrong.

Being reasonable then, means allowing for the possibility that reality may not match our premises. Being reasonable means observing, gathering evidence, and using inductive reasoning (all dogs I see have four legs, so dogs must normally have four legs). On the other hand, logic is limited to deductive reasoning, and one bad premise can taint all deductions that come from it. It is reasonable, therefore, to challenge not just our logic, but the premises it is based on.

To be reflective, is to ask questions like, "How could I be wrong here? What assumptions am I making and are they correct? Are there other explanations that may be better?

Suppose on a hot humid day, you think, "Humidity makes the air feel warmer, and it is normally more humid in Montana than in Arizona, so if the temperature is the same in both places, it will normally feel warmer in Montana." Unassailable logic, but a wrong conclusion, as I and anyone who has lived in both places in winter can tell you. Humid air actually feels warmer when it's hot and cooler when it's cold.

To avoid errors like this, you ask if it's true that humidity makes air feel warmer. A hot day's experience says yes, but when you look for possible errors you note the hidden assumption that "it's true at any temperature." You challenge that assumption, and remember that the hot feeling is partly because your sweat can't evaporate as fast in humid air, so your body can't cool itself as well. Reflecting on that, you realize it wouldn't matter as much when it's cold, because you sweat less.

Cultivate Your Critical Thinking Skills

You may already have enough knowledge to correct the error, but if not, a bit of critical thought would at least point out the need to gather more information. You can see in this example the kind of mind set you need as a critical thinker. What else can you do to develop critical thinking skills? There are specific exercises and practices for that. Here are three of them.

Evidence

Make it a habit to ask for evidence. That might mean simply asking "where did you read that?" or "Was that speculation, or did they actually do a test?" Be prepared to provide evidence for your own claims as well. We don't carry our sources with us, of course, but you should be able to get a sense whether there really is some basis for a claim or belief.

Source

Because we don't carry evidence around with us, we all accept many things said at face value, at least for the sake of discussion. Otherwise our conversations would be more like interrogations, and probably very short. However, we can consider the sources of information and evidence. We can ask if this person usually remembers the facts correctly. We can consider if the source they refer to is reliable.

Motivations

What we believe, what others believe, and what evidence is considered by anyone, is in part a function of motivations. Because of this, a magazine might be entirely biased in it's reporting, yet have all of their facts perfectly verified. Of course, you should ask yourself if there is enough of a motivation for outright lying, but this isn't as common as many people think. A more important part of you critical thinking skills is to ask why these certain facts may have been reported (what bias is likely), and what facts are being ignored or passed over.
